The club is an amateur team and has never played in the Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL). However, they have won the Scottish Cup ten times, most recently in 1893.
Edinburgh Academical Football Club
Founded in 1824, Edinburgh Academical is the oldest existing football club in Scotland and the oldest club in the SPFL. The club was originally a rugby club but switched to football in 1858. They won the Scottish Cup twice in the 19th century and are currently members of the Scottish League Two.
Kilmarnock Football Club
Founded in 1869, Kilmarnock is the oldest professional football club in Scotland and the third oldest club in the SPFL. The club has won the Scottish Cup three times and the Scottish League Cup once. They are currently members of the Scottish Premiership.

Founded in 1877, St Mirren is the fourth oldest club in the SPFL. The club has won the Scottish Cup three times and the Scottish League Cup twice. They are currently members of the Scottish Premiership.

Founded in 1874, Heart of Midlothian is one of the most successful clubs in Scottish football history. The club has won the Scottish Cup eight times and the Scottish League Championship four times. They are currently members of the Scottish Premiership.
